Doreen Self is an accomplished and results-driven human resource professional with 10+ years of experience. As a former Right-of-Way Agent for the State of Alaska, she has worked in both government and commercial sectors. For over 5 years, Doreen has worn many hats for TBP including HR Business Partner, Recruiter and Administrator. She has extensive experience working with employees from a variety of industries to provide work/life/safety training. During her tenure with TBP Doreen has provided administrative support for our entire team as well as our clients. Doreen has also supported clients in HR Audits, handbook creation and updates, payroll processing, onboarding, recruiting of various positions both exempt and non-exempt, as well as on-site HR support.
Prior to joining The Bradley Partnerships, Inc., Doreen worked as the HR Specialist for an oil and gas company; this was her introduction to the inner works of HR and since she has grown to enjoy the multi-faceted role of human resources providing support to management and employees. In her position she was responsible for all HR aspects for the organization from converting employee information into an HRIS system, assisting management with Performance Management Reviews, payroll processing, benefits, workplace investigations, employee discipline, handbook updates, held a seat on the company safety committee, OSHA reporting and updates, incident reporting, worker’s compensation as well as managed the company’s drug testing program. Doreen also covered all aspects of recruiting from advertising to onboarding. She managed to grow the workforce from a headcount of 20 to almost 200.
Doreen holds a Bachelor of Science degree in Paralegalism from Kaplan University. Doreen is multi-talented in managing time and life as she is raising two daughters on her own and enjoys donating her time to help local non-profit organizations.
